In celebration of 2000 LEAF vehicles sold in Norway, Nissan launched its FUTURE:TODAY exhibition last month at Youngstorget, Oslo.
A dynamic touring showcase of future technology, discerning Osloites were able to immerse themselves in a stunning laser installation created by world-renowned light artist Chris Levine, as well as test drive the ground-breaking zero emission LEAF itself.
There was also an exclusive, Nissan-hosted TEDxCity2.0 event, where speakers Cesar Harada and Siv Helene Strangeland explored the building of a sustainable future through forward thinking engineering and architecture.
To mark the launch of Future:Today, Nissan held a free concert featuring a host of Norway’s up and coming top musical talent including Lars Vaular, LidoLido and Maya Vik – culminating in a world record-breaking attempt to gather the most LEAF cars in one place, at one time. The result? A collection of 50 LEAF owners and their cars, all coming together to form one giant sound and light organ.
