May saw Honda launch its all-new CR-V to the Middle East media in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) in the UAE, and Performance Communications was proud to be invited to provide all PR support for the this important event.
Honda’s ‘best-selling SUV’ was launched in front of over 70 regional media and influencers at the high-end Waldorf Astoria hotel on the beautiful RAK coastline. Coming from across the GCC and Middle East, the guests were treated to a one-day drive of the new SUV model, with the event lasting a total of five days, seeing a high rollover of attendees at the wheel.
Managing the entire media outreach programme, with invitees including a myriad of influencers, online and traditional media outlets from the automotive and lifestyle sectors, the team walked and talked Honda, producing the press kit, assisting media with interviews, video requests, Instagram poses…. you name it!
The result: over 110 clippings generated across print, online and social media, reflecting strong message penetration, positive tonality and an AV of over half a million US dollars.
