Performance Communications bolsters automotive team

Performance Communications Author Image Performance Communications | September 24, 2018

We’ve had a busy summer and are delighted to welcome some new joiners to the Performance team.

Former journalist Joe Finnerty and Account Manager Chloe Yemm join the automotive team.

Finnerty was previously at The Sun where he was editor of The Sun Motors online, responsible for evolving the paper’s digital motoring coverage. Prior to that, he was at Auto Express, working on the consumer and products desk.

He brings a wealth of media knowledge and writing experience and will put his journalistic skills to good use across all of the agency’s key accounts.

Before joining Performance, Yemm was press officer at Renault Group UK. She will help lead the creation and development of new content and campaigns for one of the agency’s key manufacturer clients.

Also joining as Junior Account Executives are Catherine Ruddick and Dean Harfield.

Ruddick studied PR at Bournemouth University and spent a year as PR Assistant at Honda Motorcycles. Harfield has worked with Performance before when he was a sales and marketing intern at client, Triumph Motorcycles.

Performance Communications’ Joint Managing Director, Andy Francis, said: “We are excited to bolster our automotive team with such an excellent group of talented people. We pride ourselves on our specialist knowledge and our creativity and we know they will all be valuable additions to the company.”

The Origins of Hashtags Hashtags were originally designed to group conversations on social platforms, making it easier for people to follow specific topics. If you were into motorcycles, searching for #Motorcycles would bring up relevant discussions. They were a simple […]

MOTD Vs Changing viewing habits

I used to be a Match of the Day devotee, but the appeal is unfortunately waning. Yes, Sunderland AFC have been absent for 7 (seven) seasons, but I can’t remember the last time I tuned in for a full episode and with viewing figures down year-on-year (just 2.7 million earlier in January), this national institution […]
