The Middle East team  have been busy recently and we’re proud to announce they have been appointed by General Motors, one of the world’s biggest automotive manufacturers, to provide communications support for its Cadillac, GMC and ACDelco brands across the Middle East.

Responsibilities will cover strategic consultation, product communications, event support, press fleet administration and crisis management across all three brands. Its geographic remit encompasses the GCC and Levant countries.

Started in 2009, our Middle East office based in Dubai Media City has an ever-expanding portfolio of clients, which includes the likes of Bentley, Breitling, Harley-Davidson, Volvo Trucks, Konami and Continental Tires, and thanks to a dynamic, flexible approach, the team are now well established as trusted advisors to some of the world’s most well-known brands.

Headquartered in the cosmopolitan city of New York, Cadillac has been a leading luxury auto brand since its foundation in 1902 and has been present in the Middle East for over 85 years. Today it is growing globally, driven by an expanding product portfolio featuring dramatic design and technology. The brand’s Middle East line-up features award-winning passenger cars ATS, CTS and XTS as well as the CT6 prestige sedan, XT5 luxury crossover and Escalade SUV. It is topped off by the formidable V-Series range of high-performance models.

Building pickups since 1902, GMC has a rich Middle East heritage that stems from a remarkable 111 years of presence, innovation and engineering excellence. The GMC portfolio in the region features the Terrain small SUV, Acadia crossover, Sierra pickup and Yukon and Yukon XL full-size SUVs. All models are available in Denali luxury trim.

ACDelco is the exclusive Original Equipment parts brand for Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac, as well as provider of premium aftermarket parts for most other makes and models. With a century of history behind it and nearly 90,000 parts across 37 product lines, ACDelco is the preferred choice of professional technicians and do-it-yourselfers in more than 100 countries.

Ian Drinkwater, Director at Performance Communications commented: “When it comes to motoring in the Middle East, few manufacturers are woven as closely into the region’s automotive fabric as Cadillac and GMC. To be appointed to work with such genuinely iconic brands is a source of great pride to all at Performance, and is indicative of the quality of service the agency has come to be known for.”
