The 2010/11 showpiece Tesco Cup UK Final took place at Birmingham City’s St Andrews stadium in front of a large and vociferous crowd that included former Arsenal and England defender, Martin Keown.

Over 3,600 teams from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland entered the initial stages of the competition and it was the final 12 teams who got the chance to showcase their skills on the Premier League stage.

England’s Staplehurst Monarchs were triumphant in the Boys U13 section, beating Ysciefiog Wolves from Wales on penalties after a thrilling encounter.

In the girl’s competition, Hibs U14s, representing Scotland, triumphed in their age group and the Manchester Ladies were crowned champions of the U16 competition.
