When luxury Swiss watch brand, Breitling and the region’s leading timepiece retailer, Ahmed Seddiqi and Sons wanted to announce their new partnership, they turned to Performance Communications for something a little different.
With Breitling sharing some of the finest moments in the conquest of the skies, Performance Communications felt it would be particularly appropriate to hold the event at the exclusive Level 123 in the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, Dubai. And at 441 metres above ground level, the launch presentation was made at a height that exceeded those that the world famous Breitling Wingwalkers and Red Bull Air Race planes normally fly.
A total of 38 representatives from leading luxury and lifestyle publications attended the event with both Arabic and English coverage appearing in leading publications, such as Harpers Bazaar Arabia, Middle East Watches and Grazia Middle East.
The event was also attended by top executives from both companies, including Breitling president, Theodore Schneider and Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, SVP Sales & Retail from Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. Adding a touch of glamour to the event, the Breitling Wingwalkers, who were mistaken by some for base jumpers, were on hand to talk about their latest adventures.
