The Brief.
DS Automobiles looked to demonstrate its synergy with the worlds of high-end fashion and design, whilst highlighting its ongoing efforts to offer drivers with a growing range of electric models.
With a history rooted in French and Parisian culture, the fashion world was an obvious avenue to explore to allow DS to show off its innovation, creativity and latest design details.
The Response.
We collaborated with leading industry experts EGONlab and Post Carbon Lab to create a one-off, bespoke conscious collection of clothing that actively absorbs CO2.
The eco-friendly conscious collection consisted of a Parisian inspired slogan bomber jacket, trench coat and two t-shirts. The CO2-absorbing clothing collection demonstrated DS’ Future Craft philosophy, whilst the photosynthetic coating created by Post Carbon Lab absorbed 1,452g of CO2, the same amount as a typical six-year-old oak tree over approximately six months.
To demonstrate the collection, we created a fashion-shoot inspired video as well as full image suite.
The Results.
The DS Conscious Collection allowed us to achieve the aim of generating awareness of the DS brand in key media verticals beyond automotive, with coverage from leading titles across lifestyle, design and fashion sectors.
Many of the fashion and design media were eager to find out more, so we facilitated bespoke deep-dive articles through interviews with DS’ design team.
Beyond media, the Conscious Collection successfully demonstrated DS’ association with the worlds of high fashion and design.
