One of Performance Communications two founding directors, much of Charlie’s time is spent on the day-to-day demands of running the business. That said, Charlie enjoys getting stuck in at the coalface on client business and, now and again, comes through with the odd winning idea.
With almost two decades of agency experience working across an eclectic range of media relations and sponsorship PR challenges, ranging from start-ups to major blue chips, his passion for sport – both as a player and as a viewer – means he approaches all with equal relish.
Away from work, Charlie likes testing himself over a variety of endurance cycling and triathlon challenges, nurturing his sons’ support of Manchester City FC and fine-tuning his dream of leading a champion horse into the Cheltenham Gold Cup winners’ enclosure.
His Proudest Performance Achievement is successfully conducting a golfing media masterclass for a drunk and jetlagged rock star with Ian Poulter; without destroying Wentworth’s first fairway.
