Animal Dynamics designs and manufactures autonomous drones / uncrewed aircraft systems that replace the need for humans in dangerous environments.
In 2021 the ambitious scale up, a spin-out from Oxford University, tasked us to refine its brand foundations and grow its brand awareness to unlock future investment.
The Response.
We applied a five-step process that we use to help startups and scaleups on their investment journey.
- Defining the essential elements of the brand DNA, purpose, proposition and vision.
- Crafting simple messages to bring the proposition to life. This underpinned the investor narrative and wider comms programme.
- Developing a bold visual identity, with black silhouette backgrounds and mountainous landscapes to instantly tell the AD story.
- Launching a microsite ahead of early investor conversations
- Building a bespoke strategy that aligns to the investment life cycle.
The Results.
This has helped to:
- Close an undisclosed investment round allowing Animal Dynamics to accelerate the commercial roll-out of Stork-STM, its uncrewed aircraft system.
- Achieve strategically targeted coverage and thought leadership designed to support the investor narrative and aided conversations with future partners.
- Attract an editorial broadcast opportunity with CNN via the new microsite (aired to a global audience of 400 million)
