The big guns of the Middle East automotive industry were in attendance at this year’s Middle East Motor Awards at the Sharjah Expo Centre. And while the headlines were rightly taken by the winning models, there was plenty to celebrate for Performance Communications, which saw its clients walk away with three category wins as well as the overall Car Of The Year award.
McLaren’s amazing 12C high performance sports car was voted the Middle East’s top car by a panel of 17 automotive experts, representing 9 different countries, having first secured a class win for best supercar. The Hyundai Veloster claimed the title of best hatchback, while the Bentley Continental GT V8 took the best premium luxury coupe award.
In each case, Performance Communications had instigated test drive programmes or events across the region to ensure that jury members were able to fully experience the cars ahead of their voting deadlines.
