Alex Brundle Track Day News Update

Performance Communications Author Image Performance Communications | أغسطس 4, 2014

Last month Performance Communications organised a corporate and media track day event at Bedford Autodrome for global logistics client GAC . As part of the day GAC’s sponsored racing driver Alex Brundle took part in a unique Father versus Son One Lap Challenge with his father, Martin Brundle, the former British racing driver and current Sky F1 commentator.

Before the challenge could take place Alex and Martin took the GAC clients out on the track for a hot lap in the Palmer Jaguar JP-LM. Fitting the one lap challenge in around the client activity meant meticulous planning and execution on the day was essential to fit everything in.

The filming period was limited to half an hour, so as soon as the hot laps were finished it was straight back on the track for Alex and Martin for a bit of good old father-son rivalry in the head to head one lap challenge.

On the day a number of pre-Le Mans interviews were completed with Alex. However, the biggest outcome from the day was the exclusive two page spread that ran in The Sunday Times Driving Section on Father’s Day, along with a featured article with video on The Sunday Times website, producing some incredible GAC brand coverage.
