With more than 15 years’ experience across a range of corporate and consumer roles both in PR agencies and in-house, Nicola now handles the agency’s business development and marketing. A wide-ranging role, this involves assisting with new business, developing thought leadership campaigns and writing award entries.
Before Performance, Nicola worked at Visa Europe, overseeing all consumer and sponsorship PR across 18 different markets in Europe. She did a stint at eBay, running PR for the Motors website in the UK & Ireland; and during her time at a variety of large PR agencies, has worked with clients as diverse as AEG, Nescafe, Hotels.com and, a long time ago, BT Openworld.
Outside of Performance, Nicola is a huge fan of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and was lucky enough to work at both the Vancouver and London Games. She is also an avid supporter of Ireland’s rugby team and is trying, unsuccessfully, to persuade her two sons to join in her support.
Nicola’s proudest Performance moments are numerous, too many to mention in fact – comprising each and every time our work has been recognised by the wider industry. Well, that and doing a front flip on a trampoline at the Christmas party.
