What we’re looking for

Our Technology division (which connects our core specialisms of automotive and sport) is growing quickly and we are now looking for a talented Graduate or Account Executive to join the team. The perfect role for someone with a year under their belt (in-house or agency), or who is looking for their first position in a Communications agency.

This role is suitable for someone who is looking for exciting work. Someone who is passionate about the worlds of Mobility Tech and Sports Tech. From concept cars and flying machines to wearable technologies and fan engagement.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager & Head of Technology you will help manage the day-to-day smooth running of a number of high-profile accounts. You’ll gain experience managing a busy press office, social media channels, and designing assets and you will also play a fundamental role in helping to drive new business.

What you’ll need (Required Skills)


  • High energy. A self-starter, with proactive, can-do attitude
  • Confidence to build and manage effective client and journalist relationships
  • Takes initiative and able to work autonomously and conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times
  • A strong communicator, passionate about communicating complex concepts in a simple and effective way
  • Good copywriting skills with great attention to detail
  • A logical and clear thinker with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • An ability to juggle conflicting priorities and plan and prioritise own work
  • Passionate about good, simple and effective PR/comms with a strong eye for an editorial angle
  • An integrated thinker with solid media knowhow. Able to push content out and pull contacts in, keep on top of social media trends and creatively tell client stories across shared channels
  • A desire to challenge and be challenged
  • An appetite for progression and able to utilise constructive feedback from senior members of the team
  • Quick learner, adaptable and pragmatic thinker, while being tenacious, results-driven and resilient
  • An interest in technology and its impact on the automotive industry

Desired but not essential

  • Agency experience
  • Social media experience is a bonus but not essential

Key Accountabilities

  • Support our SAM and Head of Technology on delivering PR plans for clients
  • Driving media relations to unlock press coverage. From scanning news articles to finding journalists and pitching stories
  • Managing social media channels to drive growth and engagement
  • Brainstorm and conceptualise ideas and campaign plans with support from senior team members
  • Research and draft press releases, blog articles, features and Q&A documents
  • Monitoring industry news to spot for issues jump and potential new business opportunities
  • Supporting on agency new business. Identifying targets and looking for opportunities to engage
  • Action all account housekeeping-related matters including the weekly client reports, meeting agendas, minutes and contact reports including circulation, the internal team coordination of briefing documents and related documentation to the delivery of the accounts
  • Brief third party suppliers such as photographers, videographers, and designers for upcoming shoots and assist in the delivery of high quality assets
  • Coordinate evaluation reports and liaise with suppliers (e.g. Coverage Book, PRIME and Klear) to deliver accurate and informative reports across all projects
  • Assist in researching and creating market insights, including consumer, media, and PR trends, as well as competitor analysis reports
  • Enthusiastically ready to help grow the Technology proposition, sharing insights, supporting on new business pitches and rallying teams internally
