Job Vacancy – Junior Account Executive
Job description
We have created a new exciting role for an eager to learn Junior Account Executive.
Working across several exciting automotive and start-up brands, we are looking for someone who enjoys media relations and ideally has an interest (if not experience) in SEO.
The Agency has a reputation for nurturing and developing talent, and prides itself on being at the forefront of modern PR and communications.
Located at Performance Communications, Kingston-Upon-Thames, this job would be split between office (2-3 days a week) and home.
Experience
- A self-starter JAE-level individual (ideal for a graduate or someone with placement experience) who has an interest in communications and/or SEO or automotive
- Good writing skills
- Time management
- Admin and reporting
- An understanding of PR
- An understanding of SEO link building preferable but not essential
- Understanding of key social channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc)
- An interest in learning about new digital tools
Key accountabilities
- Collation of reports and status updates for several accounts
- Identify media opportunities
- Media relations in general
- Build and manage media lists
- Online SEO tool management
- Assist in distribution of press releases, imagery, videos and other story-telling assets to the media
- Establish relationships with all client teams as well as key personnel elsewhere in the businesses to ensure direct access to key people who can provide data / information / opinion etc for any relevant content
- Research to provide insights / gather information to support the creation of engaging content and news stories
- Support ideation and delivery of content ideas – from simple release to larger campaigns
- Ensure high quality of content and written copy
- Plan, organise and prioritise workloads
- Research to help the team in producing market insights across different industry sectors, media and spot trends as well as being aware of competitor activity
- Act as solid and reliable support for senior team members
