Twitter @ Mention changes

The hashtag #WeWantOLDTwitterBACK is full of some very upset Tweeps, angry about Twitter changing how the service works by removing the ability for people to see when someone @mentions them or Retweets a Tweet.

Its not immediately clear when these changes happened, but so far, it looks like they are restricted to the mobile app rather than being a platform wide change.

We have done some tests here @PerformancePR and @mentions from people we don’t follow are showing up on the Twitter.com (for those that still use it!) and the official Twitter application (for Mac)

For those mobile tweeters, looking to restore Twitter to its previous glory, just head to your settings and you can change it back.
